He first appeared on the tax rolls in the North Ward in 1725/6 and continued until 1738/9 in Rhinebeck (Dutchess Co. Tax Lists). A 1736 manuscript for Barent Breshaar of Rhinebeck survives (Dutchess Co., Ancient Docs. #79).
