3. David Ulam, b. 13 Feb 1788, Berlin, Somerset, PA; d. aft 1860, at Mercer Co., Illinois. He m. abt 1814 to Margaret Allen, b. 1794 in Milford Twp., Somerset Co., PA: she d. aft. 1870 in Mercer Co., Illinois.

David was a machine maker. Census: All in Westmoreland County, PA, 1820, North Huntington Twp., 1830 and 1840, Hempfield Twp., 1850, Mt. Pleasent Twp., and 1860 census in Preemption, Mercer County, Illinois. Their children are all born in Westmoreland County;
