Johann Jacob’s page is Maisenbach Family Book page 50a:
---

A note that he took his family to N. America. and a second note says: Died in America in 1866. The book Indicates both he and his father are from Unterkollbach. His brother's record only says Kollbach. Maps I've seen imply that you add Unter or Ober to the name rather than just Kolbach.

Oberkollbach is apparently in Calw OA
Unterkollbach is in Neuenbuerg OA

Part of a message from George D Irwin:
On pg. 35 of the cemetery listing by the Decatur Genealogical Society, there is a Jacob Stoll, died 8-21-1865, next to Erhard Stoll, died 12/20/1864 26y 9d. There is a GAR member sign beside the latter, suggesting he was a Civil War Soldier. Implies that we could do a bit of exploring in Civil War records for additional information.

I think it must have been very difficult for his Jacob to have immigrated to the U. S. and then lose his son in a war for the new country. We can see that he died 8 months after his son.

George Stoll was named administrator of his estate March 5th 1866. No more detail than that from the court entry.
