From “History of John and Rachael Tannehill and their Descendants” by Letitia Tannehill Coe 1903

Robert Tannehill was probably next in order of birth. He married Margaret Tannehill, who, though bearing the same name was not known to be even distantly related. They had a daughter, Emeline, and a son, both of whom died young and unmarried, before their parents. My father remembered seeing the daughter when he was a child, and thought her a very lovely girl. I think they lived in Pittsburgh, and he and his wife died about 1830.
