Lewis Billings, in Naomi's genealogy book, presents a strong case that Jasper, John, Thomas, and William were all sons of Jasper who died in Halifax Co., VA in 1763. Abraham names William as his father, and states that after his tour of duty he returned to his Uncle Thomas On Pittsylvania Co. His father William settled on the "Larrasal" River in NC, then moved to Muhlenberg Co., KY (census of 1810) along with Abraham who moved to Ralls Co., MO prior to 1830. Does this fit? --Harold
