.... I descend from Marinda Ullom, daughter of Stephen Ullom, son of Peter, son of Jacob and Magdalena. Marinda Ullom is my gr gr grandmother, who married William Jackson Butcher. I come off the line of their son, David White Butcher.

I did notice that you have that Marinda Ullom married John Ross and then William Butcher. Actually, it was the other way around. William died at the age of 28 and left her with the two children and then she remarried to John Ross, moved to Gifford, Ill where she died in 1899 and buried in Welles Cemetery there in Gifford.
