3. James William (May 30, 1870-1926) married Mary Catherine Waddell (Aug. 6, 1870) on Jan. 8, 1896. They had two girls: Jenna Ruth (Feb. 2 1897-1980) and Florence Esther (April 19, 1899). Neither daughters married. Many of their things are in a museum at Millikin University in Decatur, IL. The girls owned a cabinet that was brought with the Gasaways when they moved
here from Ross County, Ohio. It was dated as being made in the 1820's.
