Notice: Elijah Ullom and Elizabeth Ullom, his wife; Stephen Ullom and Ellen Ullom, his wife; Hugh Swartwood and Sally, his wife; Isaac Young and Mary, his wife; Jacob Ullom and Margaret, his wife; Charles Brownfield and Mariah, his wife; William Dye and Mariah, his wife; Thomas Mitchell, Shadrach Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell, Mitchell Huffmann, Catharine Huffman, Nancy Huffman, Abraham Huffman will take notice that on the 13th of Dec. 1852 Jacob Huffman and Nancy Huffman, his wife of Monroe County filed a bill in chancery against them the object and prayer of which is to set aside a certain pretended conveyance made on the 6th of April, 1852 by Thomas Mitchell, sen to Elijah for the following described real estate - 40 acres in SE 1/2 of SE 1/4 T.2, R.4 and 124 acres in S.33, T.2, R.4.

I believe Elijah died before bef 29 Jan 1867. Perhaps the original purchase or construction of his mill could provide hints. 24 does seem a bit young to own a mill.
An adminstrator’s sale was advertized on that date in the local paper. (probably the Spirit of Democracy)
