Recently one officer from the Anchorage Police Department responded to a call on Birchwood Loop at the residence of my parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Richner.
My father had passed away and officer Anthony Provost was the first officer to respond to a call from Chugiak paramedics. On behalf of my mother and entire family, I wish to commend Provost on the way in which he performed a difficult and sensitive job.
He was so kind and compassionate. He helped to make a painful situation more bearable. Anchorage is fortunate to have an officer of his caliber serving the city.
