John Ashton married Grace ?  Seems John had a neighbor Henry Meese who married Mary, the great granddaughter of Powhatan.  They  had a daughter named Grace.  John Ashton married a Grace.  Henry Meese gave a horse to the daughter of John and Grace.  But there is no proof that the daughter of Henry Meese married John Ashton.  Go to Genforum and look in the Meese forum.  There is a guy in Virignia named Bill Deyo who has done quite a bit of research on this but hasn't been able to come up with any proof.
