Hallo Bill, guten Abend Willi,
I have seen in the Internet your Family Tree with the old Family Huesler. This is also my Family. Jakobus Romanus Huesler and Anna Maria Catharina Josepha Agatha Pfenninger are the same ancestors for us. I know also Josephus Romanus Huesler from the Hostel Guetsch in Lucerne from my Fathers narrations. The names are written in old latin language. The farm of the Family Huesler from Neudorf LU have the name Roemerhof till 300 years. This name is coming from the name Romanus, Roman ( Candid Roman Huesler ). This is the parent house from the Family up to this day. There are more than on farmer house at Neudorf with Huesler.
I am born also in Neudorf LU at 12. August 1943 and my name is Franz Rinaldo Robert Huesler. My son have the name Franz Roman Samuel Huesler and hi is son and heir of the Family. My Christian name is Rinaldo and Roman is the Christian name of my son. Now, I live at Rheinfelden AG by Basel on the Rhein, my son live at Basel.
The oltest mention of the Family name are 1357 and 1361. Hans and Heinrich Huesler became freedom of a Luzern city (Lucerne). Before this time the old Family name was “Ze Huse”. Huesler is a modern form at the late middle age. I think, the name is coming from a village name “Huse” , now Hausen AG near Brugg in the Kanton Aargau. The old Castel Habsburg is 2 km from Hausen AG ( Huse ) and 5 km from Brugg AG. You know the Family Habsburg, 600 jears emperor of Westeurope, (heiliges roemisches Reich deutscher Nation). Habsburg is a Swiss Family with a gallop in Europe.
Our Family was by Rothenburg LU ( ze Huse ca 1290, 1300, 1309, 1326, 1344 ), Sempach LU ( ca 1500 Huesler on Seevogtei Sempach ), Rickenbach LU ( 1519 Saffeton ), Neudorf LU ( 1612 ). We are in the Neudorf tree of the Family. I know 6 old trees of the Family. The village Neudorf is 952 at first time called, tributary at monastery Fraumuenster at Zuerich, later tributary at monastery ( Chorherrenstift ) Beromuenster, 4 km from Neudorf. I was in the Latin school in Beromuenster at 1955-1959.
You have a false heraldic figure from the Family. The information in the Luzerner Staatsarchiv is not correct with the community name. Rickenbach LU has red and Neudorf LU has blue background. I send you the correct heraldic figure from the Neudorf tree of the Family Huesler .The two arrows are from a seal from the Seevogtei Sempach. Ulrich ( Ueli ) Huesler was bailiff for the lake and hunt ( 1513-1519 ), lake of Sempach LU. The three green hills will mean this is a free independent farmer family. The three stars will mean this is an important family ( bailiff on Sempach ). The Family name has a umlaut ( vowel-mutation in German ).
