Birth: (1,5a,6a,8a) 25 Jul 1764. (1) Warren Co., OH. (1,2,5a,b,6,8) s/o William Kinkead/Eleanor Guy. (1) Born while his mother was a captive of the Indians. (NOTE: Source says mother was taken to Chillicothe, the town now being in Ross Co., OH, although that may not be where the Indian town was.) (2) VA. (5b) 1764, s/o Capt. William Kincaid. (6a) When his mother was captured by the Indians, 14 Apr 1764, "she was in three months of having an infant." His mother was, for a large portion of the time she was with the Indians, at Zanesville. (NOTE: Zanesville is in present Muskingum Co., OH.) (7) The Andrew Kincaid who m. Ann Poage was s/o John Kincaid/Elizabeth, gs/o David Kincaid. (NOTE: Same source says that 21 Aug 1770, John and Elizabeth Kincaid deeded to their son Andrew 106 acres on Great Calfpasture River. He had brothers Joseph, Thomas, Matthew, James and John. However, this Andrew named a daughter Ann Guy Kincaid. See John of Calfpature River, Augusta Co., VA.)
