I. James John Mackall, b. 29th November, 1717; d. prior to 1770; was one of the largest landowners of Calvert County, Md., his estate comprising, it is said, some 30,000 acres; m. Mary HANCE, dau. of Benjamin HANCE, of Overton, and Mary HUTCHINS, his wife, dau. of Colonel Francis HUTCHINS of Hunting Creek.
