Thomas Hoppel Webber said: "Philip and Ann lived in Fluvanna County, Virginia and moved to Shelby County, Kentucky."

Dick Webber says: "This may not be correct. A part of Albemarle County, Virginia became Fluvanna County, Kentucky in 1777."

Richard Webber of Palm Desert says: 'Philip Webber was a Baptist minister and moved to Kentucky in 1796. This line of Webbers wound up in Urbana, Illinois and founded the city of Urbana, where there is a Webber tract, Webber street and Webber school. Philip was the first minister of the Lyles Baptist Church in Wilmington, Fluvanna County, Virginia."

This indenture made 3 August 1780 between Phillip Webber and Anne, his wife of the county of Fluvanna of the one part and Tandy Rice of the other part. Consideration 300 pounds current money, a certain tract in Fluvanna on the side of the mainbranches of the Byrd Creek containing 226 1/2 acres beginning on the line of Nicholas Darnald on the east side of the creek containing the said line of Thomas Lilly and Robert Richardson by the dividing line between said land and the land of Phillip Webber thence on the said line to the beginning it being a part of a larger tract of land purchased of said Phillip Webber to John Cook of King William County it being the part where one John Webber lived with all the houses, orchards and gardens and etc. were.

May 27, 1780 Between John Cook and his wife, Sarah Cook, of King Wm County, Virginia to Phillip Webber of Fluvanna County consideration 300 pounds, tract on both sides Byrd Creek of 750 acres adjoining the land of William Hughes and other and part of the land is in two patents.
Witnesses: William Webber, Sam Woodson, Robert Farrar.
